What counts as an "account"?+
One AWS account (12-digit account ID) or one Azure subscription (subscription GUID). If a client of yours has 3 AWS accounts and 2 Azure subscriptions, that is 5 units.
Which account should I put on the free tier?+
Whichever you use to try the product with real, low-risk data — usually a dev or staging environment of your own or of a pilot client. When you connect a second account, billing starts automatically at $49/month for that one.
Do all features work on the free tier?+
Yes. There is no feature gating. Alerts, Recommendations Hub, Budget, Ownership, PDF exports, deployable code — everything works on the free account and on every paid account.
What happens when I disconnect an account?+
Your Stripe subscription updates on the next billing cycle to reflect the new count. If you drop below two accounts total, the subscription is cancelled and you go back to free.
Do you charge a percentage of savings (gainshare)?+
No. Flat $49/month per additional account, regardless of how much or how little the account saves. Predictable for you and for your clients.
Do you charge per scan?+
No. Unlimited scans on every account, free or paid.
Can I bill this to my client?+
Yes. Many consultancies pass the $49/month through to the client as a cost line, or bundle it into their own retainer. Your call.
